March 2, 2018 is a week away, have you filed your FAFSA?

March 2 is about a week away, have you filed your 2018-2019 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  Several factors hinge on applying by the priority deadline of March 2, 2018. Financial aid funds may be limited; priority is usually one of the requirements for eligibility of certain funds. Housing & Residential Education uses the March 2 priority deadline as one of the factors to be eligible for Housing Deposit Fee Deferral; you can review the other factors by clicking on the link for Housing Deposit Fee Deferral. Many scholarships also require that you file your FAFSA by the March 2 priority deadline. 

So do not delay, tell your friends, tell your parents, tell the neighbor. File your FAFSA right away!

As a student at CSUCI, you have direct access to short-term psychological counseling, outreach/prevention, and consultative services. The Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) office is a safe and supportive environment that celebrates all forms of diversity and polyculturalism. 

One of the available services is Group Counseling. In a college setting socializing and talking in groups seems normal so group counseling may be a way for you to learn and share with your peers in confidence about your experiences and how to overcome them.  

There are groups that meet weekly each semester and there are groups that develop out of interest.  Here are the groups that are meeting spring 2018.
